I really love Yeasayer. There is something so energetic about their music and I really never tire of them. Lately, I have been listening to both their albums, Odd Blood and All Hour Symbols and consequently reading what other people have had to say about them. The reviews tend to all be along the line of "if you love one, then you'll hate the other", but I love them both in different ways. One reviewer claimed that it separated Yeasayer fans into the "hippies and the hipsters" (Odd blood being hipster and All Hour Symbols being hippie) but why can't you be both?  So many people also complained about two of my favourite tracks on Odd Blood "Mondegreen" and "Rome" (which I both find similar to The Cure, another of my favourite bands) saying they were a load of tripe and that Yeasayer had grossly failed. Some people assume that once they dislike a track or if a track has strayed from bands older material that it is ultimately a fail. Anyway, listen for yourself and see what you think:
